Enable Workflow for a Project
Note:
When you have implemented the change control workflow process on your project, enable workflow for the project in BOEMax before you import the BOEMax budget baseline project into EVMax. The import process includes the workflow project settings so you only need to do this once for the project.
Prerequisites
- Define the workflow user roles. All projects share this common list of user roles. This list determines the selections available in the Workflow User Roles section in the Settings tab. See Define Workflow User Roles.
- The workflow process you intend to use for the project has been established. See Create a Workflow Process.
- Select . The Manage Projects tab window displays.
- Click on the dropdown in the Ribbon Menu and select the project you want from the list.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Click the check box so it is checked. This enables the common list of Workflow User Roles below.
- Select which apply for the project. Click the applicable named user role check boxes. These settings determine the Role columns that display in the main EVMax window.
- Click in the Ribbon Menu.
- Optional. Close the Manage Projects tab.
What to Do Next
- Identify Control Accounts.
- Assign Workflow Roles to named users for the control accounts.
- Initiate the Workflow Process when applicable for each control account.
